Coronation Park presents the Best of
Ormskirk!
The crème de la crème of local businesses are coming together in
Coronation Park, Ormskirk on Thursday 24 July for The Best of
Ormskirk Festival.
The free event, which has been organised by The Best of Ormskirk
website, runs from 4pm to 9pm and will showcase highly recommended
local businesses. There will also be stalls from specialist local
producers and continental traders.
But, that’s not all! There is plenty more going on in the park
to keep every member of the family entertained for the evening.
There will be live music, circus acts, magicians, balloon artists
and even face painting. Plus, for the energetic little ones there
will also be a bouncy castle!
Cllr Geoff Hammond, Portfolio Holder for Community Services,
said: "I am extremely pleased that the District Council has had the
opportunity to be a part of this fantastic event. It is a terrific
way to show everyone what Ormskirk really has to offer as
recommended by the people that live there!"
Coronation Park holds a wide variety of events all throughout
the year from art days and nature expeditions to musical
extravaganzas and sports events. This year alone it has hosted the
St George’s Day Parade, National Moth Night, Park Praise Funday
and, coming up on 27 July, the Day of Dance. It is the perfect
venue for any type of event.
