Grab an art activity bargain for your
youngsters
If you like to plan ahead for the school holidays then why
not book some creative workshops at Chapel Gallery for your
children and save money too!
The Gallery has just launched its holiday activity
programme for April 2009 to March 2010, which is jam-packed with
ideas galore to keep the kids entertained during the half
terms.
As a special offer they are doing a 3 for 2 deal where if
people book three sessions before the end of May they only have to
pay for two - which is a great way to save the pennies during the
credit crunch.
Activities are aimed at children aged 8 to 16 and include
everything from creating bold paintings and developing your own
sculpting skills to devising a piece of theatre or bringing a story
to life using 3-D.
Cllr Andrew Fowler, Portfolio Holder for Community
Services and Health, said:
"We know that times are hard for a lot of people at the
moment in the current economic climate but we don’t want it to stop
our youngsters from accessing the arts and being able to enjoy
themselves in the school holidays. So why not take advantage of
this great offer which guarantees your child a place on some of our
adventurous workshops and saves you money at the same
time!"
