Beat the credit crunch with 2009 free
business workshops
Thinking about setting up a business or
worried about keeping your business afloat in today’s economic
climate? Well, help is at hand for West Lancashire
entrepreneurs.
If you are thinking of setting up a business
or run an established firm and want it to prosper then why not sign
up for one of the free workshops/events run by the District
Council’s Enterprising West Lancashire Team.
There are a series of sessions specifically
aimed at pre-start businesses, which cover everything from getting
started through to marketing, bookkeeping and business planning.
Other workshops and networking events have been designed to help
new or established organisations develop their business, which is
particularly crucial in today’s alarming ‘credit crunch’.
Cllr Adrian Owens, Portfolio Holder for
Regeneration and Estates, said: “It is always very challenging to
set up your own business, especially in times of recession, so
these workshops are a great way to put you on the right path to
success. They have been designed to help, support and inspire and
it’s also a good opportunity to network with like-minded
entrepreneurs.”
Workshops are:
- Getting Started, 21 January, 5.30pm to
8pm
- Business Planning, 28 January, 5.30pm to
8pm
- Book-Keeping, 4 February, 5.30pm to 8pm
