ceremony to celebrate Britain’s first ever Armed Forces Day, which
is on 27th June, by the raising of a new special
Ministry of Defence flag which will be flown all week and will be
presented to the Mayor by the Deputy Lord Lieutenant of
Lancashire

The Mayor & Mayoress will attend an ‘At
Home’ hosted by the High Sheriff of Lancashire, Mrs Susan
Reynolds

The Deputy Mayor & Mayoress will attend a
screening of ‘Wasted’ – a film about alcohol written by young
people for young people – a West Lancashire Peer Education project
in conjunction with Liverpool Film Academy

launch for their chosen charities, West Lancashire Parkinson’s

certificates to all those attending courses
