Calling craft makers for popular Christmas
event!
Artists and craftmakers have a great opportunity to sell their
wares at this year’s popular Christmas Fine Art Contemporary Craft
Event.
For the ninth year running, Chapel Gallery will be hosting this
traditional festive event on Friday 27 November, starting 12noon
until 8pm, and they are looking to select talented individuals to
take part.
Already many stalls have been
snapped up but the team still has a few places left for those who
are interested in showcasing their works and providing shoppers
with unusual gift ideas.
They are keen to attract artists
and makers who specialise in a variety of artworks including
jewellery, glass, prints, ceramics, textiles and paintings.
Cllr Andrew Fowler, Portfolio Holder for Community Services,
said: "This popular event has become a Christmas tradition for many
of our visitors and is a great opportunity for artists and makers
to sell their wares. I would urge anyone interested to sign up to
this event as quickly as possible as spaces are limited and are
always snapped up very early in the year, so hurry!"
There are still some places left
for those who would like to apply. But due to increasing demand,
sellers are being encouraged to apply as soon as possible to stand
the best chance of selection for a stall. If you are interested in
applying, contact the Chapel Gallery, St Helens Road, Ormskirk on
01695 571328 for more details. Alternatively, visit the gallery’s
website www.chapelgallery.org.uk
(external link) or our gallery pages.
The public can visit the gallery anytime from 10am to 4.30pm,
Tuesday to Saturday. The café and shop is open from 10am to 4pm.
Entrance is free.
