When you become a council tenant, in addition to a copy of your
tenancy agreement, you will also receive a copy of the Tenants’
Handbook.
The handbook contains:
- general contact information
- your tenancy - rights and responsibilities
- living in your council home
- repairs
- transfers, exchanges and moving
- tenant involvement
