We encourage you to get involved with our regular community
walkabouts which provide opportunities for you to have your say,
and give us a chance to listen to your wants and needs so we can
help you to make positive changes on our estates.
The walkabouts allow you to team up with other local residents,
staff, councillors and partners in a tour of your
neighbourhood. You can voice any worries on issues such
as litter, graffiti, repairs and the environment. You'll have
the chance to speak directly to staff and point out any matters
that cause you concern. All comments will be listened to and we
will then discuss what action can be taken to improve the area.
West Lancashire Borough Council values your input and makes
sure all issues identified on the walkabouts are addressed. Whilst
not all of the issues will be the responsibility of the council,
our partnerships with local agencies - such as the Fire Service,
Police and Lancashire County Council - allow us to make sure all
concerns are fed back to the appropriate people or
organisations.
All Walkabouts take place every 3 weeks on Wednesdays
starting at 9.45am.
