What does the course
involve?
A ten week exercise programme adapted to suit individual
needs.
- Twice weekly attendance on specific days and times dependent on
the venue.
- Each referral will have an assessment prior to and at the end
of the 10 week course (free of charge)
Who can be referred?
Anybody who requires introduction to exercise including those
patients who have been inactive for many years, those with specific
medical needs and also people who could just benefit from a
healthier lifestyle!
What happens at the end of the course?
At the end of the 10 weeks, referrals have the option to take out a
membership at a reduced rate if they wish to continue with the
exercise.
What are the next steps?
- Make an appointment with your GP as they are the referring
agency.
- After consultation with your GP, you will be referred to the
Life Matters Scheme.
- Our GP Referral Officer will then contact you when they receive
the referral.

18yrs
