'On The Move' Project

We take part in the national 'On The Move' project by providing the following:

Mass participation events

These events allow people to experience new activities on a large scale, enabling an active involvement towards becoming physically and emotionally fitter. They give people the opportunity to socialise and provide an sense of community spirit.

Our vision is to host a variety of large scale events to cater for all people - such as family fun days, competitive runs and other sports and physical activities to appeal to the masses!

Fit for free scheme

This project is supported through West Lancs Sport and Physical Activity Network with funding from Sport England. It involves arranging visits to workplaces and offering free health and fitness screening as well as nutrition and lifestyle advice.

Back to Netball

Back to Netball is fun, flexible and all about friendship. Rediscover the fun of netball or come and try it for the first time - all women aged over 16 are welcome regardless of ability. There's no commitment to playing in competitions, just play to have fun and get fit at the same time!

The sessions will be held at Skelmersdale Sports Centre on Tuesday nights from 8.00pm – 9.00pm.
