The West Lancashire Community Safety Partnership is committed to
multi-agency problem solving and delivering balanced and
comprehensive solutions to tackling crime and disorder.
Every council in the country has its own Community Safety
Partnership - which is made up from five responsible authorities.
In West Lancashire this includes:
- West Lancashire Borough Council
- Lancashire County Council
- Lancashire Fire and Rescue
- Lancashire Constabulary
- The Primary Care Trust
- The Probation Trust
- plus important contributions from other partner agencies
The Community Safety Partnership has a new set of
priorities and targets for 2011-12 which have been agreed locally.
These have a strong focus on more serious violence, with greater
flexibility for partners to deliver local priorities, reduce the
fear of crime and increase community confidence.
To meet this challenge the
partnership has produced its local Community Safety
Partnership Plan for 2011. The document sets out a framework
for the delivery of our agreed local priorities.
