The Heritage Strategy aims to provide an overview of
how we will undertake our duty to preserve the
historic environment of the borough and promote awareness of the
value of our shared heritage.
This strategy is an update of an existing council approved
document which had been in place since June 2003. Consultation on
the changes to the strategy was carried out during
the summer of 2009. The results of the consultation were
then approved by Cabinet in September 2009.
