The Council are preparing several different planning documents
that together will make up the West Lancashire Local Plan. Most of these
documents will have at least one round of public consultation and
so there will be frequent periods of consultation.
The Council must meet certain standards when consulting on
its Local Plan documents. These are set out in our 2007
Statement of Community Involvement.
