Consultation on the Local Plan Preferred Option ran
from 5 January 2012 until 17 February 2012. It has now
closed. Full information, including the comments we

Feedback
The results of the last consultation have now been
published in a Feedback Report and can be found on the
LDF Preferred
Options and
Local Plan Preferred Options pages. Over
700 comments were received through formal representations, along
with over 200 survey responses, plus comments received from spatial
forums, the Edge Hill forum, a housing developer forum, business
meetings, public exhibitions and work with local
schools.
The comments received during the last consultation exercise
(May 2011) have been used to inform the development of the
Local
Plan Preferred Options document.
Draft Green Belt Study - Feedback
Details of the full comments submitted on the Green Belt
Study during the consultation period are now available to view on
the Green Belt
Study pages, along with the Council response to each
comment. These have been used to prepare the Final Green Belt
Study Report
Final Green Belt Study
The results of the Final Green Belt Study consultation have
now been published (Dec 2011).
Infrastructure Delivery Plan
The Infrastructure Delivery Plan (IDP) is a
supporting document for the Local Plan and covers the plan period
from 2012 to 2027. Published online on 4 January 2012, the
IDP includes details of the infrastructure identified by the
Council and other service providers as being needed to support the
delivery of development within West Lancashire. It has been
produced by the council but with the assistance and vital support
of all infrastructure partners.
