We collect clinical waste from the following businesses and
organisations:
- Health clinics
- Doctors' surgeries
- Veterinary practices
- Residential homes
- Nursing homes
- Chemists
What we collect
We will provide all customers with special bin bags and boxes for
sharp items. Items should be left out for collection by 6.30am.
Examples of clinical waste include:
- In a Yellow Bag: swabs or soiled dressings, human or animal
tissue, waste from treatment areas
- In a Sharps Box: syringes, needles or other sharp instruments
or glass
How to arrange a clinical waste collection
For the collection of commercial waste there is a charge depending
on the size and number of collections - each business is quoted a
competitive price.
